Many car owners panic when they find fog inside their new headlights, mistakenly thinking it’s a defective product.
In fact, slight headlight fog is a normal physical phenomenon. Car headlights are not fully sealed. They are designed with breathable valves for heat dissipation and air pressure balance. Humid air enters the lamp body during installation, car washing, or temperature changes, forming thin fog on the lampshade after cold and hot alternation.
Turn on your headlights and drive for 10-20 minutes. The working heat will evaporate the internal moisture through the breathable valve. The fog will disappear completely without affecting the headlight’s service life or lighting effect.
Master this simple trick to distinguish normal condensation from quality issues, avoid unnecessary losses and keep your headlights in perfect condition!
